What has more antioxidants than a cup of green tea? Cocoa powder. What has more
antioxidants than cocoa? Depending on the quality of your cocoa, not too much. Mix green tea and chocolate together and you not only have two of my favorite beverages, but a powerful blend of antioxidants that your skin will love. This green tea and chocolate face mask is also great for detoxifying the skin. Both ingredients help to stimulate circulation, helping to bring impurities to the surface to be removed during this facial treatment.
To make this tea and chocolate face mask you will need:
Mix the cocoa powder and green tea together until you have a nice paste. Add the sweet almond oil. Use more or less green tea to get the right consistency, a smooth, thick goo. I like to use hot tea for a more stimulating effect from the warmth, but it is not necessary. Be sure to use a high-quality, as unrefined as possible organic cocoa powder, not a hot chocolate mix! Smear over recently cleansed skin. Leave your mask on while you enjoy a cup of green tea or homemade cocoa. Wash off and moisturize. This is one of the easiest face masks to make, as well as one of the most potent when it comes to antioxidant activity for your skin.
