Two of the best natural ingredients for preventing breakouts are salicylic acid and alpha hydroxy acids. Both are found in my strawberry yogurt face mask for acne, as well as many skin care products for clear skin. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid that peels away the top layer of skin and unblocks clogged pores. Being oil-soluble, it is really effective for clearing up those sebum-filled pores. Alpha hydroxy acids, such as citric, lactic, and malic acid, also help to naturally exfoliate the skin. They are used for anti-blemish and anti-aging skin care.
Strawberries are a natural source of both salicylic and alpha hydroxy acids. They are great for cleansing, renewing, and brightening the skin, creating a smoother, clearer complexion. Yogurt is a staple DIY face mask ingredient, an excellent source of alpha hydroxy acids, as well as anti-bacterial zinc. I also like to add raw honey, for some more anti-bacterial action, always a plus with an acne face mask, and some balancing clary sage essential oil.
To make this berry yogurt face mask for acne, you will need:
Stir together all the ingredients. Spread over a recently cleansed face. Leave on for 15 minutes. An oily skin tip — it is still important to use a facial moisturizer even if you have acne. Use a light lotion instead of a rich cream and wait until skin is completely dry before applying.

I like this mask. I have tried it and my skin felt smoother. I'm really having acne troubles right now which is why I sometimes use Honey mask(they say it's good), and other natural products. This is definitely a must try. Thanks for the post! :)
so glad that you liked it. I have recently been cutting out milk from my diet, which does seem to help. Good luck!
